Hoegemeyer Recipe
This month our recipe comes from Brenda Garrett - Nebraska City, Neb.
Barbecued MeatballsBarbecued Meatballs

1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk
3 lbs hamburger
2 cups quick oatmeal
2 eggs
1 cup onion chopped
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2 tsp chili powder
Sauce:

2 cups catsup
½ tsp garlic powder
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped onion
2 T. liquid smoke
Mix together meatball ingredients and shape into balls. I used an ice cream scoop to make same size balls. Place in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Mix together sauce ingredients. Dissolve mixture. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
